01 – About Montoor

(1) WORKING HOURS – 10h > 15h Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday, more urgent cases) – We reply by WhatsApp / email to our travellers and partners (FESTIVE DAYS > Day off).

(2) TRAVELLER SERVICE – As tourism in Portugal grows, the number of cases of people being scammed increases. The 100% online service allows for written proof through the exchange of EMAILS, being the only legal way to record in writing everything that was contracted by the traveller.

(3) OFFICE – Montoor does not have a physical space. We divide our time between providing service at the established time to respond to emails and developing/organizing/prospecting products through teleworking.

(4) BRANCH – We do not have any branches directly. We are experts in the destinations on our platform, we do not publish the unknown. It allows us to talk about each destination in the first person and our collaborators/partners are an extension of MONTOOR.

03 - Collaborators liability towards MONTOOR

Collaborators of the products present at MONTOOR are responsible for all the information and characteristics (photographs, description, conditions of use, among others), relating to the product present at MONTOOR. The collaborator must always remain communicable and available to respond to any contact requests from MONTOOR. Collaborators are solely responsible and ensure that the products are in the proper conditions described in MONTOOR, as well as safety and hygiene conditions. Collaborators are also responsible for travellers throughout each product booking request.
04 - MONTOOR's liability towards the collaborator

After the booking is made, the COLLABORATOR is responsible for contacting the traveller directly in order to verify that the booking complies with what is advertised on the website. The traveller must respect the characteristics of the booked product and delivery point requested and which are set out in the booking confirmation. If it is found that this condition is not being respected, the collaborator may interrupt the booking request. Alternatively, the collaborator may reach an agreement with the traveller that may provide for delivery of the product to a different point. The traveller is responsible for any and all changes to the product reservation request and must immediately communicate them to the collaborator, in order to determine different delivery points. Within the scope of the previous paragraph, direct and objective liability falls on the traveller in whose name the booking was made. MONTOOR is in no way responsible for any changes or cancellations made by the traveller. The traveller must remain communicable and available to respond to requests from MONTOOR or its collaborators.
05 - Commissions about collaborator products

Montoor does not directly charge any commission on collaborator products. When each collaborator makes his/her registration, in the “Montoor commission” line, he/she must enter the commission that will be divided as follows:

01- Example: price 10€ > commission 20% > charged to traveller 8€ > 1€ direct discount > 1€ sent to Montoor

02- Amount sent to Montoor: converted into POINTS in the traveller’s account, for future bookings of travel products (not “BE LOCAL” products)

03- Each product directly booked in collaborator company/shop/store, in addition to the products displayed on the Montoor platform, the traveller receives half discount value (Example: price 10€ > 10% commission > 9€ charged to traveller > 0.5€ direct discount > 0.5€ sent to Montoor)

CANNOT BE ACCUMULATED ON PRODUCTS WITH DISCOUNT on collaborator company/shop/store/website!
06 - Your customers > Our new Travellers

When you make the first booking from a new traveller on the platform, you become their “Trip Maker”. With each new booking, you receive the commission without necessarily having sent ads for it!

How is possible? When you are LOGIN, just make a new booking and in checkout page, “ADD TRIP MAKER > write your tour maker name” and receive commissions from future bookings… FAST and EASY to have your customers into our new travellers 🙂

We would like to thank each collaborator for their efforts in getting new travellers registered on the platform.

Can a traveller change tour maker? Yes, the request must be made by the traveller , writing us, either via WhatsApp or Email. Each tour maker will be notified with an email from Montoor.

Why is it allowed to change tour maker? There may be a thousand and one explanations from each traveller. Montoor wants every traveller to feel “at home” and for that only reason, exchanges are accepted and not questionable.
07 - Commissions about other products

For “BE LOCAL” products, from other collaborators, no commissions. You know, every discount on your products go to traveller, 50% to buy something to your brand and 50% to buy next trip. If your are their TRIP MAKER, you win your commission on our platform, WIN-WIN program 🙂

For travel products, from MONTOOR BRAND or PARTNER BRAND, you can win up to 10% commission by month (subject to bookings).

You can receive commissions document information before your inscription, for that, you need to fill the form on pop-up. Or you receive the document after registration, only if you don’t ask for them before.
08 - Limited nº of products! WHY?

We are sustainable booking platform, for sustainable tourism and sustainable collaborations! Small, medium & big companies or businessmen/entrepreneurs have the same opportunity to devellop only the best sustainable products of their region/country. When your product have good sells, add one more, UP TO 9… Trips Made Easy, that’s it!
09 - TRIP MAKER

Who are you and how can they help travellers? It’s a connecting person between us and some travellers!

– A Trip Maker is a company or an independent professional, can be a “BE LOCAL” collaborator with products that complement the destination visited. It thanks to him that travellers maybe find Montoor, don’t forget when you share our platform or products to mention YOUR TRIP MAKER ID (is your username. Ex: TRIP MAKER > MONTOOR TRIPS)
– Some Trip Makers are perfectly knowledgeable about the product and the destination and can help travellers better than anyone else to resolve your questions and doubts. Don’t forget to mention YOUR TRIP MAKER ID when you promote the platform. It’s important for travellers to know it when registering on the platform as a new user! Otherwise, the traveller are not associated to your account!

Yes, we know, you directly inscribe your travellers, but some of them know you and Montoor Platform, but they don’t know YOUR TRIP MAKER ID ! It’s always better to have more ways to give you commissions 🙂
